LkSG: Sustainable supply chain

Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)

Dear stakeholders,

On July 22, 2021, the Federal Council passed the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (“LkSG”). This law requires companies to systematically implement defined due diligence obligations in predefined human rights and environmental risk areas. Human rights and environmental risks within their own business operations and with direct suppliers must be prevented or at least minimized. These risks include, for example, child labor, forced labor, violations of occupational health and safety standards, discrimination/unequal treatment of employees, or withholding fair wages.

Deutsche Bahn AG, as a group with its business areas, will be directly affected by this obligation starting on January 1, 2023.

To ensure that the LkSG is adhered to at ioki, as a subsidiary of the DB Group, and throughout its supply chain, we have established a complaint procedure. This procedure allows individuals or groups to submit relevant complaints or reports to Deutsche Bahn AG. This enables us to respond promptly to indications of human rights or environmental risks within our own business area or within our direct and indirect supply chains.

If you wish to submit a complaint or report, please send an email to complaint-lksg@ioki.com.
