Guide for Importing Existing Route Data into ioki Route

Import Feature

  • In addition to manually creating lines and routes, ioki Route also offers the option to import existing route data.
  • The following formats are currently supported: ISA (version 5.x), Dino 2.1, GTFS, and OSM.
  • When exporting from planning tools, please make sure to set the projection to ‘WGS84’.

Import routing data

  • “Import” tab
  • After selecting the format and uploading the file (most formats are uploaded as a .zip file), you can start the import. – Optional: During import, routing settings can be selected for all imported routes. These can also be adjusted individually later in the route segments. Detailed explanations are available via the info icon. – Optional: During import, existing data can be overwritten. These settings can be found under the routing settings. Detailed explanations are available via the info icon.- The ‘Import History’ tab shows the progress of the import process.
  • As long as an import is in progress, no additional import can be started
  • Depending on the size of the import file, the import can take up to just under an hour.
