May 2025

– Users now have direct access to account and security settings in the Control Center. – If stations and stops were imported from external systems and contain slightly incorrect coordinates, they will now be automatically corrected and moved closer to the road to prevent routing issues. – Enabling and disabling routes for display in the app can now be scheduled in advance. – Users can now invite colleagues to their own ioki Route product via an invitation function in the user menu. This feature is available to provider admins. – Alerts can now also be activated or deactivated, similar to routes. – Several visual adjustments in the Control Center to improve clarity and display on smaller screens.

April 2025

– When importing ISA and GTFS route data, the import of route geometry can now be deactivated. The ioki Route backend will then calculate and generate the initial paths. – A live map shows the position and route information of operational vehicles. It can be accessed via the menu. – With the introduction of the live map, vehicles can now be created individually in the Control Center with specific vehicle information and selected in the app. This allows specific vehicles to be shown on the live map.

March 2025

– Drivers will only be shown routes in the app that start near their location, allowing faster discovery when many routes are available. This option can also be deactivated. – If import files in ISA or GTFS format were created using other map data, they will now be more accurately transferred to the ioki Route map material. – When importing route data, it is now optionally possible to choose whether existing data should be overwritten (e.g., after timetable changes). – In the route preview of the app, a 2D top-down view with north orientation can now be selected. This makes it easier to learn routes before a journey.

February 2025

  • The route preview in the app has been improved for smoother display.
  • The helper line when editing route segments in Route Control has been adjusted in color and thickness to improve visibility.
  • Routing through roads marked as construction zones on the map is now possible (to do this, activate “Ignore traffic rules”).
  • Navigation can now be started within a 500-meter radius. Navigation begins as soon as the bus driver reaches the route path.

January 2025

  • New interested users can now independently register for ioki Route at ioki.route.com.
  • Introduction of a new issue type to highlight unconnected route segments.
